The Role

Use your extensive knowledge of JavaScript and Web infrastructure to build applications that will help bring a high quality of care to patients and enable care providers to better manage patients. As a backend developer, you will lay the foundations for our Web technologies and collaborate closely with Product and Design to spec, build, test and deploy new features. This position reports directly to the CTO.

    A Typical Week:

  • You'll lay the groundwork for a new Web infrastructure
  • You'll learn about patient care, the medical field, and kidney disease
  • You'll brainstorm with the team to conceptualize new features
  • You'll deliver code in a dev-ops environment (AWS)
  • Lead code reviews and strive for the highest coding standards
  • Provide architectural leadership
  • Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development

    Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated expertise in problem-solving
  • Experience with client/server-side JavaScript and Node.js
  • Experience working with databases (e.g. MySql)
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment
  • Strong desire to build and maintain HIPAA compliant infrastructure
  • Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy
  • Self-­awareness and a desire to continually improve

    Bonus Points

  • Academic background in computer science (BSc or MSc)
  • UX and design sensibilities, and a desire to sweat the small stuff
  • Experience with modern browser technologies

Business & Product Operations Associate

Description

Cricket Health is looking for a Business & Product Operations Associate to help take our product to the next level. The ideal candidate is someone that can be both strategic and tactical, that can work across teams and that has a passion for data-driven decision-making. You will work with our clinical, engineering and design teams to make sure that our products are meeting the needs of patients and reshaping how they receive care. You will report to our VP of Product & Operations.

    Specific Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and work closely with patients and our clinical team to understand how they are using our product and what is and is not working
  • Help shape the vision for the ways that our product should continue to grow
  • Foster experimentation, while also stabilizing and polishing existing features
  • Prioritize work, hold the team accountable to deadlines, set and track appropriate metrics
  • Facilitate communication about data issues throughout the organization
  • Work directly with customers to roll-out products & find ways to improve the customer experience
  • Champion initiatives related to data collection and the connection between data and our company objectives

    Basic Qualifications

  • 2 years of investment banking, consulting, product management or business operations experience
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated expertise in problem-solving
  • Strong organizational skills, demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize
