Cricket Health is a healthcare technology company based in San Francisco, CA. We're developing digital-enabled services to fundamentally transform the care of people with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) who are at high-risk of progressing to End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). The Role

Use your extensive knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build web applications that will help bring a high quality of care to patients and enable care providers to better manage patients. As web developer, you will lay the foundations for web technologies and collaborate closely with Product and Design to spec, build, test and deploy new features. This position reports directly to the CTO.

    A Typical Week:

  • You'll learn about patient care, the medical field, and kidney disease
  • You'll brainstorm with the team to conceptualize new features
  • You'll create innovative ways to visualize and manage patient data
  • You'll lay the groundwork for a new web infrastructure


  • Expertise with client-side JavaScript
  • Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment
  • Expertise in building complex layouts with CSS3 and HTML5 across browser and platform
  • Strong UX and design sensibilities, and a desire to sweat the small stuff
  • Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy
  • Self-­awareness and a desire to continually improve
  • Experience using Node.js
  • Experience using a client MV* framework to build single page apps
  • Experience modeling and organizing data on the browser client
  • Experience with a CSS preprocessor (LESS, SASS etc)
  • Familiarity with HTML5 APIs
  • Familiarity with HTTP
